Sept 2011
Hello to all of our Inselhaus Bed & Breakfast guests and visitors!
As summer has began to make its exit, the weather is finally cooling down and harvest is fast approaching! There is much to do at Inselhaus, but as always, Karl has his hands full at the farm. Fall is one of our favorite times of the year, not just because of the beautiful colors but also because of what the season represents - getting together with family and friends. And please, feel free to contact us to schedule a gathering at Inselhaus; this is a beautiful time of year to do so!
Much has been going on here in Macomb as well. The Balloon Festival recently ended and it was spectacular as always with many of our old friends stopping in for the night. Also, a hello to our Western Illinois University parents, both first time and regular guests - the school year has barely began but we can not wait to see you again!
Another reason we enjoy fall is the Al Sears Jazz Festival. Talented musicians from all over the states will be coming to town in order to pay homage and celebrate the life of this wonderful musician just down the road from Inselhaus in Chandler Park. It is always a fantastic event that showcases Macomb and the wonderful people we have in the area. Be sure to stop in the weekend of Sept. 23rd through 25th to enjoy the music! And don't forget - the Gazebo Arts Festival is that same weekend!
When you stop for the night at Inselhaus, please let us know your dietary needs; we make fantastic gluten free muffins and vegan dishes that suit any taste. If there is something we can try for you, please feel free to suggest it. We want your stay to be the best night and morning you have had in what will surely become your new home away from home. As always, feel free to make a reservation online at our website, www.inselhausbb.com, or by calling us at (309) 833-5400.
Have a happy and safe fall and we hope to see you soon!
